Accessibility Statement

Our approach to making the Zonex website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

Last updated: 21 August 2026

Section 1

Our commitment

Zonex Facility Services aims to provide an inclusive website experience for people with visual, hearing, mobility, cognitive and learning disabilities, and for people using different devices, input methods or assistive technologies.

We consider accessibility in page structure, navigation, content, forms and responsive presentation. We welcome feedback from people who encounter a barrier.

Section 2

Our accessibility target

We also consider Australian Human Rights Commission guidance on equal access to digital goods and services and the objectives of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth).

Section 3

Accessibility features

The website includes:

  • semantic page landmarks and a logical heading structure;
  • a skip link to move directly to the main content;
  • keyboard-operable navigation, links, buttons and form controls;
  • visible focus indicators and spacing intended to keep focused controls unobscured;
  • text alternatives for meaningful images and empty alternatives for decorative images;
  • colour and contrast choices designed for readable text and controls;
  • support for browser zoom and text resizing without disabling pinch zoom;
  • reduced animation when the device requests reduced motion; and
  • labels, instructions, validation messages and status announcements for forms.

The site does not rely on audio or video to explain its services. If media is added later, we will consider captions, transcripts and audio description as relevant.

Section 4

Forms and feedback

Quote, contact, careers and newsletter forms use visible labels and identify required or invalid entries. Error messages describe what needs attention, and success or failure messages are exposed as status or alert information for assistive technology.

If a form is difficult to use, you can request a quote, make an enquiry or seek application assistance by phone or email instead.

Section 5

Responsive and flexible use

Pages are designed to reflow across desktop, tablet and mobile screens, and to remain usable in portrait or landscape orientation. Long-form legal pages use a constrained reading width and provide an on-page contents list.

You can use browser controls to increase text size or zoom. The layout is intended to reflow rather than require two-dimensional scrolling at narrow widths, except where a particular type of content genuinely requires it.

Section 6

Known limitations

Accessibility testing combines code review, automated checks and manual keyboard, zoom and responsive checks, but it cannot represent every browser, assistive technology or individual need. The website has not been independently certified as fully conforming to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

If you find a specific problem, please tell us the page, task, device or assistive technology involved where you are comfortable doing so. That detail helps us investigate the barrier.

Section 7

Third-party content and destinations

Some links open external services, including maps, email, phone and messaging tools. We do not control the accessibility of third-party websites or applications, but we can provide our contact details or service information another way where practical.

Section 8

Assistance and alternative formats

If website content or a form is not accessible to you, contact us by phone or email. Tell us what information or task you need and your preferred accessible format or communication method. We will work with you on a reasonable alternative, such as explaining information by phone or providing it in a simpler electronic format.

Section 9

Ongoing improvements

We review accessibility when content, forms and components change. We prioritise barriers that prevent people from finding services, requesting a quote, contacting us or applying for work.
