Section 1
About these Terms
Zonex Facility Services provides commercial and residential cleaning and related facility services across Melbourne, Victoria. In these Terms, “Zonex”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Zonex Facility Services.
These Terms govern use of this website and the process of requesting and arranging services. By using the website, you agree to the website provisions. A request for a quote is not, by itself, acceptance of a service agreement.
Section 2
Using this website
You may use this website to learn about our services, contact us, request a quote, join our newsletter or apply for work. You must use it lawfully and provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
You must not interfere with the website, try to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, submit unlawful or misleading material, misuse forms, or use website content in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
Section 3
Quote requests and estimates
The website does not display service prices or accept bookings or payments. A quote request is an invitation for us to assess your needs; it does not require either party to proceed.
Any quote or estimate depends on the information available, including the property type, service, frequency, size, location, timing and condition. We may ask questions or inspect a site before confirming scope and price. A quote may state its own validity period and assumptions.
Section 4
When a service agreement is formed
A service agreement is formed when we and the customer agree the material details, such as the work, location, timing and price. Confirmation may be recorded in a quote, email, other written communication or a separate service agreement.
If a separate written agreement applies, it forms part of the arrangement and prevails over these website Terms to the extent of any inconsistency, subject always to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Section 5
Services and agreed scope
Our published services include commercial and residential cleaning for offices, warehouses and industrial sites, retail and hospitality venues, medical and childcare premises, strata common areas, gyms and education sites, post-construction properties, windows and hard surfaces, homes, end-of-lease properties, short stays, carpets, and NDIS or aged-care settings.
The work for a particular customer is limited to the scope agreed for that service. Website descriptions are general information and do not add work to an agreed scope. Any stated outcome depends on the site, materials, condition, access and agreed method.
Section 6
Customer responsibilities
Customers must give us information reasonably needed to quote and perform the work, including relevant site conditions, access requirements, sensitive surfaces, known damage, pets, security procedures and health or safety risks.
Customers must have authority to arrange the service at the site and ensure the area is lawfully accessible. Valuable, fragile or irreplaceable items should be identified and secured before work starts.
Section 7
Site access, health and safety
Safe access must be available at the agreed time. If we cannot gain access, the parties will discuss a practical next step under the applicable quote or service agreement.
Tell us before attendance about hazardous substances, biological hazards, unsafe structures, aggressive animals, restricted areas, specialised infection controls or other material risks. We may pause, modify or decline work where conditions are unsafe, unlawful or materially different from those disclosed. We will seek to communicate the reason and any available next step.
Section 8
Changes, pricing and payment
If the requested work or site conditions materially change, either party may propose a revised scope, price or schedule. Additional work proceeds only after agreement.
Prices are provided through individual quotes. Final scope and price depend on the agreed service requirements. Any applicable GST will be identified in the relevant quote or invoice, and additional work will be agreed before it is charged.
Payment methods, amounts and due dates will be specified in the applicable quote, invoice or service agreement. This website does not collect payments. Nothing on this page creates a fee or payment term that has not otherwise been agreed.
Section 9
Cancellations and rescheduling
Customers should contact Zonex Facility Services as soon as reasonably possible if a service needs to be cancelled or rescheduled.
Any cancellation, rescheduling or related charge will only apply where it has been disclosed and agreed in the applicable quote or service agreement. If no specific term was agreed, we will address the circumstances reasonably.
Cancellation or rescheduling does not affect any right or remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Section 10
Service quality and complaints
If you believe work does not match the agreed scope, contact us promptly with enough detail for us to understand the concern. We will review the agreed scope and circumstances and discuss an appropriate response, which may include further assessment or a remedy available under law.
We do not limit a complaint to a short website-created deadline. Prompt notice may, however, make an issue easier to inspect and resolve.
Section 11
Consumer guarantees and the Australian Consumer Law
Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, services come with automatic guarantees, including that they will be provided with due care and skill, be fit for a disclosed purpose where the customer reasonably relies on us, and be supplied within a reasonable time where no time is agreed.
Section 12
Property and damage reports
Tell us promptly if you believe our work caused loss or damage, describe what happened and preserve relevant information so the matter can be assessed. We may ask to inspect the item or area and to understand pre-existing condition, maintenance, material sensitivity and the agreed method.
Responsibility will be considered under the service agreement and applicable law. This section does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Section 13
Information you provide
You are responsible for ensuring information submitted through the website is not knowingly false, unlawful, confidential to someone else without authority, or infringing. Do not send payment-card details, passwords or unnecessary identity documents through the public forms.
Section 14
Website availability, intellectual property and links
We may update, suspend or withdraw website content or functions. We aim to keep information accurate and the website available, but availability may be interrupted and general website content may not address every property or service requirement.
Unless stated otherwise, website text, branding, graphics and original materials are owned by or licensed to Zonex. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal or internal business use, but must not reproduce substantial content commercially without permission.
Links to external websites and services are provided for convenience. Their content, availability and privacy practices are controlled by their operators.
Section 15
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains the information collected through quote, contact, careers and newsletter forms, and how we handle it.
Section 16
Changes and governing law
We may update these website Terms when our services, systems or legal requirements change. The updated version applies from the date shown on this page. Changes do not retrospectively replace separately agreed terms for completed work.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The parties submit to courts and tribunals with jurisdiction in Victoria, without limiting any right to bring a claim in another forum available under applicable law.
